ROSS Oakes has signed a new two-year deal with the Bradford Bulls.
The 23-year-old has put pen-to-paper to extend his stay with Bulls having emerged through the club’s Academy set-up to make his debut in 2016.
Bradford-born Oakes established himself as a key member of the squad throughout 2019 – making 23 appearances, scoring nine tries.
He has signed a deal just two days after a new consortium, involving shareholders Nigel Wood, Mark Sawyer and Eric Perez, took control of the club.
He said: "I’m delighted to have signed a full-time contract for the next two years, with it being my hometown club.
"It was an easy decision for me to make and I’m keen to make this season one of my best and help the team move forward."
