YORKSHIRE Division One side Bradford Salem, who have persuaded goal-kicking fly-half Matt Booth to come out of retirement, host basement boys Pontefract on a weekend where many of our local clubs have the chance to cash in against lower-ranked teams.

Tenth-placed Salem are expecting to have two of their Sams back – centre Dunn after a thumb injury and utility player Savage, who was appearing for Stanningley in a rugby league final last weekend.

Keighley, who are next to bottom, face fourth-placed Selby in what is the Rose Cottage club’s fourth-successive home game.

Old Grovians, who are also fourth in Yorkshire Division Two, have a derby at cellar dwellers West Park Leeds, while Yorkshire Division Three leaders Baildon are at next-to-bottom Hemsworth.

Seventh-placed Wibsey, who put 52 points past bottom-of-the-table Aireborough last week, are at Sheffield Medicals, who are 11th.

They give a debut to former Bradford Dudley Hill centre Martin Southwell, and with fly-half Harry Hall back from suspension they switch player-coach Andy Robinson to flanker.

Mark Darragh is at hooker, while James Brown moves to the second row alongside Scott Smith, and Adam Jefferson is another to switch from the backs to the scrum, playing in the back row.
