FORMER Bradford City striker Nahki Wells has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for September.

He has also been shortlisted for the PFA Championship Player of the Month award. The double recognition comes on the back of a fine month for QPR's Wells, who scored match-winning braces for the Hoops against both Luton Town and Millwall.

Wells has been nominated for the Sky Bet award alongside Fulham's Tom Cairney, Hull City's Kamil Grosicki and Wigan Athletic's Chey Dunkley.

The winner will be announced at 6am tomorrow.
