BRADFORD City have announced the signing of six exciting new academy prospects, with the group looking to work their way up through the club's youth ranks.

Under-15s Noah Wadsworth, Sam Bentley and Darryl Ombiang and under-16s Harvey Rowe, Cole Roberts and Raj Palit have agreed deals to remain within the young Bantams' set-up until at least the completion of their two-year scholarships.

The players will stay at the club for the foreseeable future, joining Mark Trueman's under-18s side once the junior stage of their development is complete.

The sextet penned their deals on the Valley Parade pitch prior to the Bantams' Leasing.com Trophy clash with Manchester City Under-21s last month.

City's academy manager, Neil Matthews, said: "We are delighted to welcome these lads to our scholarship programme.

"These boys have shown great desire, work ethic and consistency in their performances and fully deserve this opportunity.

"As an academy we work very closely, together, to monitor the progress of the players.

"They all have a lot of promise and potential and we are looking forward to seeing them continue their pathway and progression, here at Bradford City."
