BRADFORD City Women's manager Steve Winterburn has resigned from the club.
He only took over at the beginning of this season but has now stood down following a change in family circumstances.
Winterburn has a long history with Bradford City Women, previously stretching over a 10-year period but it is understood he is now not looking to return to coaching.
Club chairperson, Sally Thackray, paid tribute to her former manager, saying: "Steve has compelling reasons to leave the club.
"He believes departing now gives a new incumbent time to continue the good work he started, steady the ship and progress further.
"We are grateful to Steve for all he has done for the club and wish him nothing but the very best, for the future."
