THE Bulls are still to satisfy the RFL’s demands for their embargo to be lifted.
The club are hoping that they could be out of special measures within the next week or so to allow them to start renewing contracts and signing players for 2020.
But there is no indication as yet that they are close to ticking all the boxes that the governing body insist on before removing the sanctions.
It is understood the RFL want to see the relevant financial information from chairman Andrew Chalmers showing the Bulls can deliver a budget for their move to Dewsbury.
The club must also prove they can keep running an academy, reserves and women’s team.
An RFL spokesman said: “The club know what they have got to do to get out of special measures.
“They’ve still to do that. Unless that changes, nothing is going to move.”
The special measures are not tied into the current situation with Odsal. The RFL have got their own practical and logistical issues in terms of running it in the short term before deciding what will happen in the future.
