BRADFORD Moor lost a thriller by two wickets at Crompark in the Dales Council League A Division, despite a fine knock of 68 from Sultan Mehmood.

The visitors were bowled out for 188, with Tariq Sajid Malik taking 7-30, and with Majid Hussain scoring 55 in Crompark's 189-8, they managed to earn a narrow win.

Meanwhile, champions Woodhouse dismissed Drighlington for only 69 and then replied with 72-2 to go through the season unbeaten in league matches.

Second-placed Leeds Sikh only made 149 thanks to Navid Hussain's 4-23 but his side, lowly Savile Stars, were routed for 76. Gobind Suryavansi took 9-30 as he recorded the best bowling figures of the season.

In a high-scoring game, Leeds Caribbean scored 249, with Haseem Bashir making a fine 129, before bowling out fellow high-flyers Halifax Direct for 233 for a 16-run victory.

Meanwhile, at Smithy Lane an unbeaten 133 from Kaleem Afzal saw Thornbury to a score of 246-7 before home side Cookridge were dismissed for only 110.

B Division champions One Stop made 186 and then held their hosts, second-placed Pudsey St Lawrence, to 168-9 for a narrow victory.

Thornbury B scored 240 (Mashood Akhtar 6-40) before bowling out Cookridge B for 127 in a comfortable home win.

Tong Park Esholt’s declaration on 234-4 after 39 overs backfired as Jay Turnbull's 70 helped see Pudsey Congs to 238-7 in 48 overs for victory.

Adel scored 219-9 at Gledhow and then bowled out Leeds Sikh B for 159 (Kanhu Charan Pattnayak 4-11) to end the season with a victory.

Struggling Halifax Direct B were again bowled out for a low score, this time for 58 at Sandal by Baildon, who replied with 59-3 for victory.

In the C Division, champions Interlink were in trouble at 59-6 against Morley before 112 not out from Mohammed Memi took them to 243-6 in their 45 overs.

But Roshan Patel hammered a stunning unbeaten 154 to see his side to 241-2 in 33 overs to inflict the first league defeat of the season on the champions.

At Station Road, Drighlington B were again in the runs, this time scoring 272 (Bhaven Mistry 85, Andrew Keegan 6-104) before bowling out Rodley for 183 (Subhaan Habib 56, Martin Douglass 4-22) to end the season on a high.

Muff Field B also finished on a high at Redrow Sports when, after scoring 230-8 (Chris Jennings 86), they bowled out home side Cookridge C for only 87.
