BRADFORD rounded off their season with fourth place in the Yorkshire Inter-District League Team Championship, which was won by Harrogate.

Having enjoyed an impressive league campaign, in which they finished second behind Halifax-Huddersfield, Chris Foster's side managed a top-half finish at York-based The Oaks Golf Club.

They were joint second-bottom after the first round of the six-man team event but they improved on their morning aggregate of 449 with a score of 443.

Bradford Open champion Ben Rhodes, of Woodhall Hills, signed off in style with his team's lowest score. His second-round 68 was his last for Bradford before he joins the professional ranks.

Jack Ward was the top individual performer, carding 69, 68 for winners Harrogate (864), who finished 17 shots clear of runners-up Sheffield (881), with Halifax-Huddersfield third on 883.
