BRADFORD Mutual Sunday School League Group A champions Salem finished the season with a 69-run victory over Yorkshire LPS.

After being put in, Salem were bowled out for 169 (Mehrbaan Khan 47, Sajjad Khan 48) as Tahir Abbas (4-21) and Pradip Patel (3-33) shone for LPS, who were bowled out for 100 with Zain-ul-Abdin taking 3-18.

Apperley Bridge (111) finished runners-up after beating Bradford Moor by 11 runs.

Yorkshire Friends have been relegated despite beating third-placed Bradford Gymkhana by 119 runs. Friends scored 230-9, Haseeb Butt (72) and Rizwan Hameed (51) sharing a first-wicket partnership of 109. In reply Gymkhana were all out for 111 off 29.2 overs (Zabi 4-34).

Hallfield have been relegated despite beating Great Horton Church by 127 runs. Hallfield scored 306 all out off 40 overs (Muhammad Asim 90, Ahmed Fraz Mirza 57, Asad Abbas 3-37). In reply Church were all out for 179, despite Savaiz Bashir making 57 as Tariq Hussain took three wickets for Hallfield.

Omar’s had a comfortable win over Girlington-My Lahore. Omars were struggling on 78-8 before an unbeaten partnership of 219 between Shmile Khan (167no) and Chetan Patel (59no) took their score to 297-8.

Rashid Mahmood took 5-41 for Girlington, who were all out for 128, Qayum Nasir scoring 54.

Northcliffe have become champions of Group B despite losing to Salem by nine wickets. Northcliffe were all out for 114 - a total which Salem cruised past as Mehr Sultan scored 61.

Bradford Indians have been promoted after finishing second but lost to Girlington-My Lahore by 79 runs. Girlington-My Lahore were all out for 190 (Awaz Ahmed 40, Izrar Ali 47, Adnan Ahmed 43) as Gaurav Kumar took 4-28. In reply, Indians were all out for 111, Iftikhar Ahmed taking 5-17.

Hallfield B, who finished in third, beat Allerton by two wickets. Allerton were bowled out for 123 (Sohail Butt 5-13) - a total Hallfield edged past with Ekbal Hussain (4-39) and Gurpreet Romana (3-26) taking the wickets for Allerton.

Hallfield, however, will be relegated because their A team have gone down to Group B.

Greenfield, who have been relegated, lost to Great Horton Church by eight wickets. Greenfield were all out for 122, Mohammed Yousaf and Rifaqat Ali taking three wickets each for Church, who had no problems in reply with Sajad Ahmed (53) and Rifaqat Ali (53no) sharing a first-wicket partnership of 120.

Cambing beat Bowling Baptist by 97 runs. Cambing scored 196-9 (Asad Khan 60, Asif Gul 55, Asif Ali 4-28) before Baptist fell well short.

Group C champions Greenfield beat West Bowling by nine wickets. West Bowling scored 130-9 off 40 overs, Haroon Hussain scoring 47. In reply Greenfield scored 134-1 off 17.4 overs, Abdul Dayan Qazi (57no) and Waqas Ali (57) sharing a 1st wicket stand of 124.

Gymkhana gained a wining draw against TABS. Gymkhana were all out for 158 off 37 overs, Sarwar scoring 67 runs. In reply Tabs scored 122-8 off 43 overs to hold out for a losing draw and gain some valuable points. Both teams have secured enough points to gain promotion.

Bradford Phoenix missed out on promotion despite beating Central YMCA by 8 wickets. YMCA scored 72-9 off 40 overs, Usman Mirza taking 3-8 for Phoenix. In reply Phoenix scored 73-2 off 15.1 overs.

Allerton beat Mandhata by 6 wickets. Mandhata scored 117 all out. Ahmed Rahman and Ali Gul taking 3 wickets each for Allerton. In reply Allerton scored 118-4 with Ritesh Patel taking 3 wickets for Mandhata.

Yorkshire LPS beat Bowling Baptist by 120 runs. LPS were all out for 235, Viral Patel (92) and Kalyan Patel (39) sharing a 100 partnership. Sajid Malik took 4-46 for Baptist. In reply Baptist were all out for 115.
