BRADFORD City full-back Kelvin Mellor has been nominated for August's PFA Bristol Street Motors League Two Player of the Month award.
The former Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle man played every minute of every league game for the Bantams last month, helping the club to pick up three clean sheets.
With Mellor as part of the defence, City prevented Cambridge United, Oldham Athletic and Stevenage from scoring against them.
In the clash with Oldham at Valley Parade, Mellor grabbed an assist in the 3-0 win.
Despite Mellor's stand out performances, August proved to be a mixed month for City, as they picked up two wins, two draws and two defeats.
Mellor was nominated for the Player of the Month Award alongside Tom King (Newport County); Luke Norris (Colchester United); Danny Rose (Mansfield Town); Bez Lubala (Crawley Town) and Joseph Mills (Forest Green).
