BRADFORD (Park Avenue) winger Rod Orlando-Young has joined Ilkeston Town on a permanent transfer.

Orlando-Young lined up for The Robins as they won promotion from the Midland Football League Premier Division under the guidance of now-Avenue assistant Lee Fowler.

The 24-year-old, who had previously won the chance to train with Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig, played just once in a short stint at the Horsfall Stadium, coming off the bench at half-time of the 4-0 defeat to Alfreton.

Meanwhile, fellow forward Myron Gibbons has returned to parent club Doncaster Rovers.

Gibbons made two appearances for Marcus Law's Avenue - starting the goalless draw at home to Blyth, before coming off the bench during the club's only win of the season so far, away at Darlington.

The striker, who turns 19 in November, returns to the League One club following the conclusion of his short loan spell.
