BULLS may have missed out on the play-offs but they made sure they ended their stay at Odsal with a win.

T&A reporter Nathan Atkinson gives his take on the game's key points as John Kear's side beat Sheffield Eagles 30-10.

Man of the match: It would only be right to give this award to one of Bradford’s own. Brandon Pickersgill made several brave takes and decisions inside his own 10-metre line, and started the move which led to his fine try.

Moan of the match: Connor Farrell’s unnecessary sin-bin on the half-time hooter threatened to let Sheffield back into the game, which they duly did with an early second-half score to put themselves just two points behind.

Tactics: John Kear was delighted to be able to send out so many Bradford lads for the final game at Odsal, but he pulled a masterstroke by having them play alongside the excellent, and experienced, Jake Webster and James Green.

Moment of the match: The game was slow to spring into life, but Joe Keyes’ stunning 50 metre-run, in which he beat what looked like half of the Sheffield team, to open the scoring will be a lasting memory of Bulls’ final game at Odsal.
