CITY have not finished with their window shopping, Gary Bowyer insisted.

Last week’s loan capture of Callum Cooke and Jamie Devitt took his recruitment up to 12 new players.

But Bowyer is still looking to add at least one more before the transfer window shuts next Monday tea-time.

He said: “I’m still looking and trying to push if we possibly can.

“Possibly one more up front or possibly one more somewhere else.”

Devitt and Cooke both came off the bench in the 1-0 loss to Forest Green – with Devitt close to scoring on his return to the club.

Bowyer expects both will be sharper by the time City face Crewe at the weekend.

“You saw what they brought when they came on with their technical ability and how we want to play, especially in that creative area.

“I’m looking forward to getting time on the grass with them this week. I feel they are going to make a massive contribution.

“Jamie Devitt won’t take long at all (to get up to speed) because it’s only two weeks ago since he last played.

“Callum Cooke is probably a little bit more behind but he’s a fit lad. I know all about him and he’ll work very hard to get there quickly.”
