In an ironic twist of fate, Bulls head to Dewsbury Rams on Sunday - the ground they are set to move to temporarily for the next two seasons.

Their Championship clash provides a chance for Bradford fans to familiarise themselves with the Tetley's Stadium, though many no doubt will have made the trip ten miles down the road before.

The heartbeat of Bulls' fading play-off hopes is still just about beating after an emphatic display at Barrow Raiders last time out.

In that game, the Bulls romped home as 46-22 winners.

If you’re making the short journey across the border, we’ve got you covered with this away guide.

TRAVEL

By train:

Even though this is a relatively short trip, it's strangely difficult to get to via train.

In total, following our guide, your journey should take around 44 minutes.

Your best bet is to start at Leeds Railway Station and head for Batley Railway Station, which bizarrely is closer to the ground than Dewsbury Railway Station is.

From Leeds, get on the Transpennine Express service to Huddersfield (they're every hour on a Sunday) and get off after three stops (roughly 13 minutes).

A single adult ticket for this trip costs £3.60.

Here the only real option is to walk - a 31 minute journey.

From the station, get onto Back Station Road and head left, before then taking your next left to stay on that road.

You'll then hit Rouse Mill Lane which you turn left onto and immediately you'll be met with a roundabout.

Take the second exit onto Mill Lane and follow this without turning off and continue on when it becomes High Street.

After just over half a mile, you'll hit a junction where you'll turn left onto Leeds Road, then quickly right onto John Ormsby V C Way.

Here you'll come to a roundabout which you want to head straight over and then take your next right where you'll see the ground.

By car:

There are two main options for this one, either using the M62 or A650.

The one quoted to be quickest (at between 22 and 35 minutes depending on traffic) is the M62, so we opted for that.

From the centre of Bradford, you'll want to get onto the M62 eastbound using the M606.

Once on the M62, you'll want to keep right at the fork near junction 27 to stay on the route.

Then after roughly 3.3 miles, take the A653 exit at junction 28 to Leeds/Dewsbury.

Use the right lane to merge onto Tingley Interchange, then use the middle lane to turn right to stay on that route.

Next use the the left two lanes to turn slightly left onto Dewsbury Road/A653.

Head along this road for about 2.3 miles, before turning left on Owl Lane.

At the roundabout take the first exit to stay on Owl Lane and then turn right after you see the ground.

PARKING

There is car parking available within the stadium grounds which costs £3 per vehicle.

Disabled car parking is available behind the North Stand, in front of the main entrance.

Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be booked in advance.

PUBS

There are a number of drinking holes in Dewsbury centre which is about a 36 minute walk away, but we've picked out three of the closer options:

The Royal Oak: By far the closest to the ground - just down the road and a six minute walk. A traditional looking pub, with a 4 star rating from 88 reviews.

The Huntsman Inn: An impressive score with a 4.4 star rating from 135 reviews. Just a seven minute walk from the ground too and open half an hour later (10:30pm) than The Royal Oak on a Sunday.

Fox & Hounds: A decent option if you're walking down from the train station as it's just off High Street. Very aesthetically pleasing and rated the best out of those we selected.
