IN a Dales Council League Division A game reduced to 30 overs-a-side at Meanwood Road, Leeds Sikh number nine batsman Ajay Kamboj scored 41 not out to help them post 146-9 (Abid Hussain 4-38).

But solid scoring from the Bradford Moor top four took them to 150-7 in 29 overs for victory with Irfan Sadiq top scoring with 36.

At Station Road, Drighlington batted first in a 42 overs-a-side match and had reached 129-7 in 31 overs when the match was abandoned due to rain.

All other fixtures in the division were abandoned with no play.

In B Division, the only fixture to survive the weather was at Gledhow between Leeds Sikh B and Pudsey St Lawrence with a 35 overs-a-side taking place.

Leeds Sikh B batted first and were bowled out for 115 (Lewis Curtis 3-15) in 33 overs, Pudsey St Lawrence replied with 116-3 (Duncan Butler 92no) in 28.1 overs and now only lie eleven points behind leaders One Stop.

In C Division, Cookridge C v Drighlington B was the only game to start in the division with a 30 overs-a-side match but, with the Cookridge C score on 2-0 after 2.5 overs, ground conditions were deemed unsafe and the match was abandoned.
