THIS weekend could be the most important round of games in this year’s Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Two promotion race, with four of the top five team all in action against one another.

League leaders West Bowling will seal promotion to Division One if they beat third-placed Wigan St Jude’s, opening an unassailable five-point gap to third spot with two games to play.

Bradford Dudley Hill travel to second-placed Ince Rose Bridge needing a win to try and secure a home fixture in the play-off places, and knowing if they lose and Bowling win then Bridge will also be promoted.

In Division Three, Drighlington need wins to keep in the hunt for the play-offs, and will be confident of picking up the points when they host lowly Eastmoor Dragons.

To stay in the hunt for top spot in Yorkshire Men’s League Division One, Brighouse Rangers need a win when they welcome Allerton Bywater on Saturday.

Wyke are six wins away from a perfect season in Division Two, and will be hoping 13 isn’t their unlucky number when they aim to chalk up their 13th straight win of the season against visitors Stanningley.

Keighley Albion visit Bradford district rivals Wibsey Warriors in the same division.

Division Three strugglers Birkshinshaw Bluedogs host Kippax Welfare, while Birstall Victoria welcome Farnley Falcons, and in Division Four Odsal Sedbergh play Crigglestone All Blacks and Queensbury A travel to Batley Boys.

In the Women’s Super League, Bradford Bulls host second-placed St Helens in what is expected to be a tough fixture, while in League One Keighley Albion make the trip to Halifax.
