HURRAH - I hear you cry. The football season is back and what a joy it is for us all.

With the Football League underway and Bradford City embarking on their campaign in the basement division, it also means the return of a beloved feature here at the T&A.

That's right, Parker on Parade is back, and back with a punch for that matter.

We get right into the thick of it and discuss the modest manner of the Bantams start to the season after a 0-0 draw against Cambridge.

Read more about that here...

Is a draw a disappointment?

Simon seems to think people will have been impressed with how the side looked, despite the result.

There is also mention that Gary Bowyer is still very much on the lookout for new players - yes, the transfer window is still open for League One and League Two sides, closing on September 2.

Optimism - something all football fans have to admit to feeling at the beginning of a new campaign.

Many Bantams supporters will have been feeling excited for this season, after a string of strong signings and renewed hope with Bowyer at the helm.

Simon feels that positivity is most certainly still lingering around Valley Parade and had praise for "unit" Ben Richards-Everton.

Finally, it's onto a trip to the seaside as City face their first away game of the campaign.

It sees the Bantams come up against their old striker James Hanson, but Simon believes City will edge it and thinks playing away will suit them more.
