BRADFORD City rank 72nd in the opening day league table of all 92 Premier League and EFL clubs over the last decade, according to a new study.

The Bantams, who start their new League Two campaign against Cambridge United tomorrow, have achieved three wins over the last 10 opening day games, with two draws and five defeats, gaining 11 points. They have scored 12 goals and conceded 22 over that period.

City won their opening game last season, with Jack Payne securing a 1-0 victory at Shrewsbury Town in former head coach Michael Collins's first match in charge.

Manchester City came top in the research from betoclock.com, with nine wins from their last 10 games.

Blackburn Rovers have the worst record, with only one win from their past 10 openers.
