BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have announced the signing of striker Zayn Hakeem for the new season.
Hakeem joins from League Two Mansfield Town, where he featured for their reserve side. He also made two Football League appearances as well as playing in both the EFL Trophy and the EFL Cup.
The 20-year-old came through the Nottingham Forest Academy.
Avenue owner Gareth Roberts said: “Zayn felt that the system that we are building was an ideal fit.
“He has the tools to become one of the league’s stand-out goalscorers.”
Roberts continued: “We are excited that he chose us, given that he had multiple options. It’s a testament to the management team.”
The new striker is set to feature for Avenue in their final pre-season friendly at home to Huddersfield Town tonight (kick-off 7.30pm).
