BRADFORD City Women have found out who they are playing when in the 2019-20 campaign have been released, with the season due to get under way next month.

The Bantams will play in The FA Women’s National League Division One North and The FA Women’s National League Cup.

City’s first match of the new season will be at home to Durham Cestria, on Sunday, August 18.

They will then make their first away trip two weeks later, at Chester le Street, on September 1.

Steve Winterburn’s side will enter the Women’s FA Cup in the second qualifying round on Sunday, September 22.

The FA Women’s National League Cup campaign will begin at the preliminary round, on Sunday August 25.

The draw for both of these cup competitions will be made in due course.

City Women are looking to bounce back from a poor season which saw them lose all 24 matches in the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division, scoring just 12 goals and conceding 140. This included an 11-0 defeat in their final game of the season against Huddersfield Town.

Winterburn was also encouraged by support from men’s first-team manager Gary Bowyer, who will be sponsoring the women’s boss over the course of next season.
