FOOTBALL: Steeton host Barnoldswick Town tomorrow in the first of an annual pre-season trophy clash.

The teams will play for the inaugural Archie Airdrie Trophy at Summerhill Lane (3pm kick-off) which celebrates the life of the club stalwart who died in December 2018.

Archie's son Stewart is chairman of Barnoldswick and the two clubs have developed a close relationship in recent times. All proceeds will go to Airedale Hospital Oncology Department. Entrance is £3 adults, £1 concessions.

Elsewhere, Brighouse town travel to the Acoustafoam Stadium tomorrow to take on Shifnal Town (2.30pm), while Farsley Celtic travel to Vanarama National League side Harrogate Town (3pm).

TENNIS: Salts TC Saltaire are holding an open day in conjunction with Nature Valley Big Tennis Weekend.

The event will take place this Sunday between 11.30am and 2.30pm at Salts Tennis Club.

Equipment is available but you must wear trainers.
