SCARVES, shorts and singing - City have a number of tributes planning for Stephen Darby tomorrow.

City have lunched a partnership with their former star's charity, the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.

As part of the tie-up, the foundation's logo will appear on the back of the shorts of the club's new white away kit.

The charity's logo will get added exposure for its debut in front of a sell-out crowd of more than 24,000 people and millions watching around the world on television.

Darby said: “Everyone involved with the charity cannot thank Bradford City enough for the support they have shown so far.

“To have our logo on the away shorts allows us to raise awareness to so many people across the country.

“Bradford City and the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation hold a special place in our hearts and to be attacking MND together will only make us stronger, as we hope to find a cure.

“To be partnering up with Bradford City is one of our proudest moments. We will be forever grateful for the club’s support.

“We would like to wish the club, the manager, the players and the supporters the best of luck this season.”

Meanwhile, Bantams fans have been urged to bring their claret and amber colours as City and Liverpool come out onto the pitch at Valley Parade.

The club hopes the colourful scene will recreate the one from the goalless FA Cup quarter-final against Reading at Valley Parade in 2015.

The crowd will be further pumped up tomorrow with some music before the action gets under way.

Tom Nowakowski, of Bradford band The Good Citizens, will perform in front of the capacity crowd.
