BRADFORD (Park Avenue)'s first-ever friendly with Bradford City this Sunday morning (11.30am kick-off) has a change of venue, as it will take place at Field Sports and Social off Hollingwood Lane.

Avenue have another early start Sunday week, as they are to take part in Bridlington Rovers' tournament at Gypsey Road from 10am.

Looking forward to the new season, Avenue are to play each of the other teams three times in a new eight-team NERWFL South Division.

Bradford have received a bye in the preliminary round of the Regional League Cup. However, Farsley Celtic are at home to Premier Division rivals Harrogate Town.

Turning to the West Riding League, and Thackley will join reprieved Silsden in a 10-team Premier Division, with Ripon and Lower Hopton also promoted.

Farsley Junior First, Leeds United's under-21 side and Ossett United Reserves join Tyersal in the First Division.

Finally, Bradford City's reformed second string have secured a place in the National League Reserve Division One.
