TICKET sales for City’s friendly with Liverpool next month have today topped 20,000.

The club have now opened the TL Dallas Stand to home fans as they anticipate a near sell-out for the game on Sunday, July 14.

The prestige fixture against the European champions has been arranged to raise funds for the newly-formed Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, jointly set up by Stephen Darby.

Remaining tickets can be purchased on a first come, first served basis. The Midland Road stand will be occupied by Liverpool fans, who must buy their tickets from Anfield.

Admission prices are £15 adults, £10 seniors, students and under-16s and £5 under-11s.
