BRADFORD Olympian Trampoline Club are reaching new heights as six of their competition squad have been selected to represent Yorkshire at a national event in June.

The super six are Cove Oldfield, Florence Harvey, Emily Hebden, Isobel North, William Campbell and Harrison Holmes.

They all had to progress through a series of qualification rounds to reach the Yorkshire regional finals where the top two in each age category were selected to represent the county at the national team finals at Arena Birmingham.

In total, 19 of the club's talented squad members qualified for the regional final, which was held in Pocklington earlier this year.

This success builds on last year, when the club had 20 regional qualifiers and six members selected for Yorkshire, with William Campbell winning a silver medal for the White Rose in his age category.

Four of the six will be representing Yorkshire for the first time, with Harrison returning for his second taste of national competition and William being selected for the fourth consecutive year.

The Girlington-based club, established in 1984 by head coach Mike Abbott, have around 100 members aged between 5 and 50 and offer trampolining lessons for all abilities.
