Holders Farsley Celtic Juniors defeated Horsforth St Margaret’s 6-1 in the Yorkshire Old Boys’ Shield Final at Southfield Grange School in Bradford.

Victory saw them complete the double, having already won the Yorkshire Amateur League Premier Division title.

Horsforth did have a couple of first-half opportunities that they wasted before Said Osman opened the scoring for Farsley after good work by Tom Ormondroyd.

Celtic were in a different class in the second half and went two up thanks to Danny Lyons, who notched a third a little later when poking home a rebound from the post.

Louis Surtees and the evergreen Andy Shields gave Farsley Celtic Juniors a five-goal advantage.

Horsforth earned a consolation from a headed own goal by Ormondroyd but Surtees made sure it was Farsley's day with his second and their sixth.
