TVR United and Ovenden West Riding completed their West Riding County Amateur League fixtures with defeats.

Bradford-based United have slipped away from the possibility of ending the season in second or third place, and they signed off with a 5-2 home defeat to Ryburn United.

After having to surrender the points from their previous two games when they failed to raise a team, TVR could only manage ten players for their last game.

Abid Khan and Danny Hussain netted for TVR while Reece Uttley (2), George Turner, Kerry Munchester were on target for Ryburn, United also scoring an own goal.

Littletown, playing their second game in three days, beat Ovenden West Riding 2-1 with goals from Sam Jordan and Michael Halessellasie.

It was a changed side from the one that booked a final place in the Heavy Woollen FA's Wheatley Cup with a 3-2 success against Hartshead two days earlier. Curtis McMahon with a brace and David Paul McDonald were on target.

Esholt-based Route One Rovers lost in the semi-final stage of the Wharfedale FA Challenge Cup for the second successive season. It was also to the same opponents Pool FC, of the West Yorkshire League, who had Billy Drake and Jack Farrimond on target in a 2-0 success.

They will now face the winners of Ilkley Town and Horsforth St Margaret's at Guiseley on Sunday, April 28 (11am).

This week sees the start of the local cup final season. Tonight the Bradford FA Sunday Senior Cup showpiece between Westwood and West Bowling takes place at Eccleshill United's ground (7.30pm).

While tomorrow evening, Route One Rovers will meet Ryburn United in the semi-final of the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division Cup at Farsley Celtic (7.30pm).
