Bradford City are facing the prospect of further action from the FA following an incident which occurred during City’s 3-1 victory over Peterborough United.

During the 86th minute of the fixture - when the Bantams scored their third goal - a number of City supporters are alleged to have entered the field of play.

As a result the club now faces another potential FA charge, which comes following incidents at Walsall and Rochdale.

Club ambassador Roger Owen, who is heading up the latest investigation, said: “We are disappointed to say the say the least that we are facing another potential charge from the governing body.

“We have identified several of those involved in entering the field of play despite the efforts of stewards, who were quickly on the scene.

“We refuse to tolerate this kind of behaviour and it is hugely disappointing we find ourselves in this position once again, as a result of what can only be described as the mindless actions of a minority - who are bringing the club into disrepute.

“Those found responsible will be dealt with accordingly and significant punishments, which could include three-year bans, will be imposed.”
