THERE was a limited women's football programme due to the weather last weekend, with Guiseley Vixens switching their Northern Premier Division match with Derby to Thornton Recreation Centre.
The Ewes took an early 2-0 lead before Kirstie Hunt's tidy finish lessened the arrears.
Vixens' Ellie Casper and Maria Ledezma had chances, but the game ended 4-1 to County.
Phoenix's Sanah Razaq (2) and Megan Medley were on target against West County Women's League Second Division leaders Farsley Juniors, who went into the break 2-1 down.
Farsley had to dig deep against an incredibly strong and skilful Phoenix to net a 6-3 win through Katie Platts (2), Cam Clarke, Shauna Hill, Kim Clydesdale and Jess Cappleman.
There were only two County Premier games.
Bradford (Park Avenue)'s next opponents Brayton had a good result, a 0-0 at home to Tingley.
Brighouse Athletic came from behind to secure a win at Leeds Medics and Dentists.
Brighouse's Sarah Hemingway and a thunderbolt header from Emily Holroyd had put the visitors in front before Leeds secured the advantage.
But a Melissa Griffiths brace and a fine strike from Demi Topliss gave Brighouse a narrow 5-4 win as they prepare to host league leaders Hepworth on Sunday.
In the North East Regional League Premier Division, Farsley Celtic went in at the break all-square against Durham Cestria but went behind midway through the second half.
Cestria, who have won the title, scored twice late on to seal the three points.
