BRADFORD (Park Avenue) and Brighouse Athletic fought out an entertaining 3-3 draw in the West Riding Premier Division.

Visitor's Avenue bagged an early goal courtesy of Nat Bell who slotted into the bottom right-hand corner leaving Brighouse's stand-in keeper Sharon Bates with no chance.

The away side were confident of a win after welcoming back Emily McNulty to the side following a spell at Bradford City.

But, two Brighouse goals before half-time put them into the lead.

April Richardson and Sarah Hemingway both just beat Avenue keeper Vicky Barlow.

In the second half, Player of the Match Millie West caused havoc with a corner which nearly went directly in.

Instead, it bounced off the bar and hit a defender's leg before creeping into the net, drawing the sides level at 2-2.

Avenue then went back in front after Nat Bell skimmed a ball into the net for her second.

Melissa Griffiths' late strike for Brighouse made it all square, but by the end, both teams were too tired to grab a win.

Relegation-threatened Silsden were 1-0 up at league leaders Hepworth United thanks to a Naomi Di Franco goal.

But the home side fought back in the second-half to win 2-1 and grab a much-needed three points with second-placed Yorkshire Amateur breathing down their necks.

In Division one, Sarah Binns' second-half goal was enough for Tyersal to take the points at Ilkley, which saw them leapfrog their hosts into fifth place.

Thackley kept their title hopes alive with a patient and controlled performance against a physical and fast Republica.

Their defence was tested, but held firm to see the Denny Girls keep a clean sheet in a 5-0 win.

There were goals for Annie Nicol, Anna Mitchell and Megan Butterworth, as well as a brace for Amy Wroot.

They're now three points off leaders Ripon City, who didn't play at the weekend.

There was a top of the table clash in Division Two between second-placed Farsley Celtic Juniors and leaders Leeds United Development.

It was a tight affair in the first half, with the sides going into the break level at 1-1.

But, Farsley took the upper-hand in the second period to win 4-1 thanks to a Jasmin Cooper brace and one each for Shauna Hill and Katie Platts.

They move into first now after this vital victory.

Elsewehre, Phoenix won 4-2 at Thackley Reserves with Ikra Ali scoring twice from a free-kick, alongside a volley from top scorer Megan Medley and a debut goal for Chloe Greenwood.
