LEEDS United striker Kemar Roofe is set to be out of action for up to eight weeks, according to head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

The Elland Road club's leading scorer, with 14 goals this season, damaged knee ligaments in his side's 2-1 win over Swansea City on February 13.

Bielsa says the former Oxford United star is set to face between four to eight weeks on the sidelines.

It is another blow for Leeds as they look to regain their winning consistency in the Championship when they host second-from-bottom Bolton Wanderers, managed by former Bantams boss Phil Parkinson, on Saturday.

Bielsa also revealed today that Jack Clarke is still not available for action after being taken to hospital after falling ill during Leeds' 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough earlier this month.

The former Chile and Argentina head coach says he is fully focused on maintaining his side's promotion push, as they stand in third-placed, behind Sheffield United, who are second, and leaders Norwich City, who are two points clear.

Bielsa also named his starting line-up for Saturday's game against Bolton. It is: Casilla, Ayling, Jansson, Cooper, Alioski, Klich, Phillips, Roberts, Hernandez, Bamford, Harrison.

The head coach added: "We are focused on winning, that's our first goal.

"Then we are focused on deserving to win. Then we will try to get the biggest difference possible.

"If we have a look at the table we would think that Birmingham couldn't lose against Bolton, but Bolton won. The norm in the Championship is that you won't have any team that can beat another easily"

It is Leeds' first game back in action for two weeks after they were knocked out of the FA Cup by fellow Championship side Queens Park Rangers earlier this month.

Bielsa has also talked about his relationship with the club's fans.

He said: "I do it because in football the most important element is the people who love the shirt, the club.

"They're not asking for a photo with me, but for one with the head coach of Leeds United. As I understand the feeling, I will never say no to anyone."
