CITY are deciding on whether to pursue free agent David Edgar.
The former Canada international defender is continuing to train with the club and David Hopkin has promised a decision on his future.
The Bantams boss said: “He’s looked good in training. It’s difficult because obviously we don’t have an under-23s or reserve team where we could give players a game and see what they can do.
“We’ll wait and see over the next 48 hours and see how he is.
“If it doesn’t materialise, then I’ve still got plenty of cover here and players I feel are good enough to see us through to the end of the season.”
City had also been casting an eye on midfielder Lewis McGugan but they have not taken that any further.
Kelvin Mellor will return to full training tomorrow and could be added to the squad to face Plymouth if he comes through okay.
But Calum Woods is still missing after suffering a setback with his hamstring in training.
