GUISELEY have been boosted ahead of their clash at AFC Telford United tonight with news that Josh Langley and George Cantrill have extended their loan periods.

Twenty-six-year-old Southport centre back Langley has prolonged his stay for another month, while Cantrill, who is on loan from Sheffield United, has agreed to stay at Nethermoor for the rest of the season.

Langley has played in three games for the Lions to date, making his debut away at Chester.

The son of former Everton defender Kevin, said: “It has been great so far, as soon as I got the phone call I spoke to Russ (O'Neill) and I was dying to get here.

"I have not played many games this season. It is great to come here and get some minutes. I am really enjoying it at the moment.”

Meanwhile, Cantrill, aged 19, has played both in midfield and defence in his four appearances so far since his switch to Nethermoor last month.

The deal has been signed just a few days after his man of the match performance in Saturday’s draw with Stockport where the youngster scored the only Lions goal.
