THERE was only one game across all five divisions in the Bradford Sunday Alliance, but it was a cracker.

In a Division One mid-table clash at Southfield Grange School, hosts FC Dog and Gun knew a win against Fairweather Green would help them climb four points clear of ninth-placed Delius.

They duly delivered in a 10 goal thriller which saw Dog and Gun run out 6-4 winners, in only their second home win of the season.

A pair of braces from Brendan Maltby and Ben Omelia for Fairweather weren't enough to stop a goal hungry Dog and Gun side.

But, it was still all to play for come the break with the score sat at 3-2 in Dog and Gun's favour.

A further three second half goals for the visitors secured a valuable three points in the end, with Fairweather only managing a single goal.

Craig Cartwright and Leon Reid got goals for Dog and Gun, but it was Cameron Foster who led the way firing four past the visitors.

Foster's fantastic four double his tally for the season and makes him Dog and Gun's top goalscorer.

The loss puts to bed any lingering title hopes for sixth-placed Fairweather by virtue of all the teams above them having games in hand.

Dog and Gun are now only four points off Sunday's rivals.
