BRADFORD-based TVR United put behind them their 8-0 defeat at West Riding County Amateur League leaders Golcar United the previous weekend with an emphatic 10-3 home win against Bradford Olympic.

Victory saw them regain second place ahead of Lower Hopton, whose game against P FC was postponed.

Faisal Shabir and Habeeb Rehman led the way with three goals each, which were added to by one goal apiece from Danny Hussain, Asif Iqbal, Mohammed Ismaeel and Jinaid Taj.

Olympic had Zain Mushtaq, Subhan Rajas and Fath Warrach on target in a one-sided game.

Ovenden West Riding moved to within one point of their opponents Toller FC at the lower end of the table with only their third victory of the season in a 4-1 success.
