WESTWOOD Park continued in pole position in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Premier Division after beating Sandy Lane 3-1 away from home.

Two goals from Danny Farrar and one from Ryan Canning put Park five points clear of second-placed Crossflatts, who were involved in cup action.

Honours ended even at a wind-swept Emsleys Rec as West Bowling were unable to make up much ground on the top three in a 2-2 draw with Wyke Rangers.

Bowling kicked off with the wind at their backs but found themselves 1-0 down after just five minutes, a mistake in the box allowing a Wyke forward to pounce.

Wyke's goal was being peppered but they stood strong until Bowling's keeper Ash Onitiri launched a ball upfield and Joe Jagger got a touch as it deceived the keeper and went in to make it 1-1 at half-time.

In the second period Bowling, playing against the wind, took the game to their opponents.

But they were hit with a sucker punch after 64 minutes as the visitors took the lead following a good move.

After a scrappy spell, Bowling took control again. Jagger crossed into the box for Bowling's man of the match John May to rifle home and restore parity.

Station Athletic drew level on points with Bowling after they beat Ventus Yeadon 3-1.

Paul Harrison hit a brace for Station and Glyn Beale was also on the mark.

Meanwhile, the semi-finals of the Senior Cup will be at Rawdon Meadows on March 31 and will see Northern face Oakenshaw and Station Hotel tackle Crossflatts Village.

James Gill (2), Michael Garnett, Connor Erangey and Craig Morris were on target for Flatts as they demolished hosts Thornton 5-1 in their quarter-final, while Oakenshaw beat Olympic 2-1 to also reach the last four.

The Championship top-of-the-table clash saw Wrose Bull draw 2-2 at home to Northern.

The visitors had a one-goal lead at the interval through a Lee Smith goal and he hit a second just after the break.

Adam Medley pulled a goal back five minutes later and, with ten minutes to the whistle, Lee Cookson equalised for Northern.

In a tight Division One, Beldon Oddies lead the way, closely followed by Bradford Moor YSA with Peacock Bar and FC Queensbury waiting in the wings for the top two to slip up.

In Division Two, Low Moor beat Drop Kick 4-0 with strikes from Jahro Parchment (2), Conor McParland and Jake Carr, while Mill Lane made it 15 wins out of 15 with a 6-1 success at Beldon Oddies Reserves.

In Division Three Black Swan moved out of the basement up to ninth position with their first victory of the season, which came in a 3-2 triumph at home to New Inn Socials.

Oliver Williams bagged a brace after Liam Cunningham had opened their account.
