JOHN Sheridan will link up with former Bantams No 2 Glynn Snodin after being reappointed as manager of Vanarama National League strugglers Chesterfield on a three-year contract.
Snodin will be assistant to Sheridan, who resigned from his job at League Two Carlisle last week, where he guided them to seventh in Sky Bet League Two after five-match winning run, and faces a tough task to turn around the Spireites' fortunes.
Chesterfield are currently 22nd in the table, a far cry from Sheridan's previous reign at the club during which they won the League Two title and won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Wembley.
Former Northern Ireland assistant manager Snodin was No 2 during Simon Grayson's short reign at Valley Parade last season.
