KARL Henry has decided to leave City.

The 36-year-old made six appearances after agreeing a short-term deal last month. He had been a free agent following his release from Bolton in the summer.

But the former Wolves, Stoke and QPR midfielder has chosen to cut short his stay at the club.

Henry said: "I would like to thank everybody at Bradford City and wish the club the very best for the future."

Bantams boss David Hopkin added: "Karl has acted with the upmost professionalism since arriving at the club. We wish him and his family the best for the future."
