FORMER Keighley Cougars coach Jason Demetriou has linked up again with Wayne Bennett at South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Demetriou has become Bennett's assistant at the NRL club, having also been his number two at Brisbane Broncos.
The former Wakefield player - who led Cougars to promotion to the Championship in 2011- had been in the running for the Broncos head coach position which went to Anthony Seibold following the sacking of Bennett.
Demetriou, aged 42, has also been assistant coach at St George Illawarra Dragons and North Queensland Cowboys; as well as head coaching roles with Illawarra Cutters and Northern Pride.
