FIELD set up a fourth-round West Riding County FA Challenge Cup fourth-round tie at Pool or Huddersfield YM after holding their nerve from the spot.

The Bradford side progressed on penalties after a 3-3 draw with fellow West Yorkshire League hosts Ilkley Town.

Field won 8-7 in the shootout at Ben Rhydding Sports Club after coming from 3-1 down in normal time.

Toby Harris scored a brace for Town and Dave Hancock was also on target, while Lewis Forsythe, Tom Ponter and Christian Robinson scored for the visitors, who had their keeper to thank for scoring the winning penalty.

Ilkley manager Simon Armstrong side: "I'm disappointed to go out of the County Cup especially when being 3-1 ahead.

"Field however worked harder than we did and ultimately got their reward in taking the game to penalties. Once we're into penalties it's a lottery for both teams.

"Congratulations to Field and we wish them all the best in the next round."

Otley Town booked a home tie with Carlton Athletic after hammering Yorkshire Amateur League side Wibsey 7-1.

Both managers were sent off, as was a Wibsey player, with six men booked in a fractious affair.
