INJURIES took their toll on Tyersal in their 4-1 defeat at home to Republica Internationale in the West Riding County Women's League First Division.

Their resilient defence and some good saves from Sophie Woodrup limited the visitors to a solo first-half goal. And Abbie Tate's fine equaliser saw the teams level at the break.

The second half started off similarly, but a heavy pitch and tired legs saw injury-hit Tyersal lose by a three-goal margin.

Bradford-based Phoenix played basement side Garforth Rangers in the Second Division.

An excellent performance from all the players saw Megan Medley and Sanah Razaq both score five. Iqra Ali (2) and Aksa Khanum completed the 13-0 demolition of Garforth.

Thackley Reserves followed up an 8-0 win over Garforth 8-0 - with goals through Laura Gadd, Tara Kirkby, Hope Nicol, Lucy Turner, Paris Lockwood (2) and Megan Howell (3) - with another emphatic victory against Durkar Devils, with Lockwood, Kirkby, Nicol and Howell (2) on target.

A great game from both teams on a difficult surface saw a 5-1 win for Thackley.

Guiseley played their FA Cup game with Derby County at Mickleover Sports. A goal in each half saw Vixens lose 2-0.

Leeds United played Doncaster in a ding-dong game at Thorp Arch. Hannah Campbell helped give United a 3-2 half-time lead, but Belles made it 3-3 with the last kick of normal time.
