GRACE Ramsden has become the first new signing for Bulls Women ahead of the 2019 Super League campaign.

Ramsden, aged 20, impressed the coaching team in last season’s Challenge Plate final playing for Stanningley at hooker against Bradford.

Grace then attended the recent Bulls open training sessions where she further showed her ability.

She said: "I feel honoured to be able to play for my home town and I knew after leaving the first trial day I attended that signing at Bradford was the right thing to do.

"I had a feeling that just made me excited for the upcoming season and I am looking forward to a new challenge."

Bradford Bulls Women will continue to build their squad over the next few weeks with pre-season commencing in January.

It was announced today that Wakefield Trinity will join the Women's Super League next year.

Along with Bulls, Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers, Leeds Rhinos, St Helens, Wigan Warriors and York City Knights, Trinity's addition takes the total number of teams involved to eight.
