A PAUL Oldroyd hat-trick condemned Cowling to another heavy defeat in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division, as they were thumped 6-1 by visitors Rolls.

Cowling's only goal came courtesy of Luke Barker but it was little consolation for the hosts, who remain fourth-bottom with just two wins from their opening 12 league games.

Settle United sit five points behind leaders Silsden Whitestar after a Tom Strickland hat-trick ensured an easy 5-0 win at Skipton Town.

Ben Phillips and Daniel Bathers were the other men on target for United, who have two games in hand over Whitestar after picking up their eighth win from nine this season.

Meanwhile, the clash between high-fliers Trawden Celtic and Grassington United went the way of the former, who won 3-1.

In Division One, Cononley Sports slipped to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at struggling Chatburn, with Jake Manditsch scoring their second half consolation.

Barlick Wanderers earned an impressive 2-2 draw at Salts 3rds Craven in Division Two. Their opponents sat second, while Barlick were third-bottom, but the underdogs picked up a valuable point in their relegation fight.

Settle United 3rds blew a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 at home to struggling Sutton in Division Three. Daniel Ridehalgh, Aiden Robertson and substitute Mickey Ruddock all netted for the visitors in their comeback.

Elsewhere, Barnoldswick Barons maintained top spot with a thumping 6-1 home win over Otley Town A, while high-flying rivals Iplay FC Barrowford and Salts 4th Craven played out a thrilling 4-4 draw.
