GARY Waddock is determined to heap all the pressure on City tonight.

The Aldershot boss admits his side may have missed their best chance of an FA Cup upset after letting a lead slip in the farcical conditions at the EBB Stadium 10 days ago.

But he believes the National League team can relish a second trip in three years to Valley Parade.

Waddock said: “It’s going to be a great experience for our young players.

“All the pressure is on Bradford. They are certainly going to have to win at their place.

“If we make it difficult for them, who knows what can happen in the FA Cup?

“But we saw what a good side they were (in the) second half against us.

“They’d lost a few on the trot but showed good character coming from a goal behind in those conditions away to a National League side.

“You’ve got to give their manager and players a lot of credit.

“They are better than their league position suggests and it’s going to be a tough one for us.”

Aldershot arrive in West Yorkshire on the back of a heavy 4-0 beating at Salford on Saturday but Waddock hopes the Valley Parade pitch will suit their style of play.

“We are a passing side and the conditions have got to be a lot better than last time,” he added. “When Jake Gallagher came off, he said he’d never played in anything like that.

“It’s going to be difficult because of their home support as well.

“When it’s a one-off game, that’s your chance and it was disappointing we couldn’t hang on.

“I’m not conceding that we’re going to go up there and lay down and die. We’ll have a right go at it.

“But they will know a lot more about us this time, so it makes it slightly more difficult.”

The Shots will have to do without skipper Scott Rendell after the striker came off injured in the first half at the weekend.

Fellow front man Matt McClure missed that game but is back in contention.
