CITY are giving supporters a chance to watch their next League One home game against Oxford United for just £1.

The Bantams are hoping the offer for the crunch clash against their fellow strugglers on Saturday, November 24 will attract a crowd of more than 20,000.

The initiative will allow season-ticket holders to purchase an extra seat for £1 as part of an exclusive sales period - starting from 9am tomorrow. Then the £1 tickets will go on general sale from 9am on Friday, November 16.

Julian Rhodes, who returned to the club earlier this week in a consultancy role and who used the £1 ticket scheme in the past when he was co-owner, said: “We want to get at least 20,000 fans in for what will be a massive game against Oxford.

“The people of Bradford have delivered for this club time and time again.

“They have never let us down and I am sure they will appreciate this initiative and come out and support the club in a big way.”

The initial season-ticket holder sale will give people the chance to purchase an additional ticket for a family member or friend - and move seats elsewhere if necessary.

NOTE: £1 tickets are limited to one per season-ticket holder during the initial, exclusive first week’s sales period. This offer will become active from 9am on Friday November 9 and £1 tickets will go on general sale seven days later. Discounted tickets must be purchased before 5pm on Friday, November 23. On the day of the game, standard admission prices will apply.
