BRADFORD (Park Avenue) gave a good all-round performance at Leeds Medics and Dentists in the West Riding County Women's League Cup, surviving a late scare to win 3-2.
Goals from Ash Butler, Debbie Barwick and Sophie Mitchell, along with some good saves from Vicky Barlow, meant Bradford were on top for most of the game.
A late penalty for the hosts brought the deficit down to one and ensured an anxious last 10 minutes, but Avenue held out to go through to the quarter-finals.

Tyersal's Sarah Opie and Abbie Tate were on target, but they lost a fabulous game 4-2 after extra-time against Dewsbury Rangers.
