WEST Bowling moved into the third round of the West Riding County FA Sunday Cup with a 6-3 victory over fellow Bradford Sunday Alliance side Prospect.

Bowling were soon on the attack but poor finishing meant they had to wait until the 26th minute to open their account.

Wayne Sparkes crossed for Curtis McMahon to hit home and six minutes later Bowling doubled their lead when Sparkes turned goalscorer.

Prospect pulled a goal back before the interval through leading scorer Jordan Farrell but Joe Jagger responded after the interval to put the Premier Division team 3-1 up.

Ten minutes later Dillon Hollinger beat overworked Prospect keeper Danny Dobson before Callum Wheatley, who was man of the match for Bowling, weighed in with number four.

Jagger hit his second five minutes later and went on to complete his hat-trick in the closing stages.

Farrell got his second and Tristram Innes added a third for Prospect but they were purely consolation goals.

Thornton United progressed with a 2-1 win over East Leeds Celtic, Oakenshaw bowed out 2-1 at home to AFC Wibsey, while Premier Division leaders Crossflatts Village overcame local rivals Keighley Town by a solitary goal.

In the only Sunday Alliance Premier Division clash Wyke Rangers beat Ventus Yeadon Celtic 6-2, while AFC Titans hit seven past Rattlers FC in the sole Championship game.

Luke Lester hit a hat-trick for the winners, Ben Mcardle bagged a brace, and Michael Kelly and Luke Firth were also on the scoresheet.

Martin Lee hit four for Beldon Oddies and Arran Sagar netted a hat-trick in an 8-2 victory over Delius in Division One.

Bradford Moor YSA had a victory, winning by the odd goal in five at Bolton Woods Socials.

Mohammed Ismaeel (2) and Mohammed Ishaq were on target for the visitors, while Josh Thompson and Luke Parkin replied for the home team.

Division Three leaders Clayton Albion had a 4-2 victory over Windhill Ajax, with Nikki Thornton bagging a brace for the winners, and Steven Wilkinson and Hayden Sykes were also in the goals.
