City trialist Willy Topp - a full Chilean international - got the winner as the Bantams gained their second victory of the season tonight.

Boss Stuart McCall was taking a look at Topp, who is on a two-week trial with the Bantams having recently interested LA Galaxy.

And the 21-year-old striker impressed by scoring on the stroke of half-time with an excellent shot.

He had to come off early in the second half after suffering from severe cramp. And there was a scare for recent goal hero Luke Medley, who was involved in a bad clash of heads with Liam Francis, who was taken off. Medley needed treatment and a new shirt but was able to carry on.

City reserves: Saynor, Morgan, O'Brien, Bentham (Griffiths), Hopkins, Ainge (Smith), Penford, Topp (Osborne 46), Joynes, Medley, Taylforth.
