ANDREW Benjamin and Ryan Clay both netted hat-tricks as Wyke Wanderers pulled off an extraordinary 10-7 win over Lower Hopton in the Heavy Woollen FA Cup.

Karl Fawcett scored twice, while there was one apiece for Waqas Iqbal and Matthew Conway as Wyke came out on top in the 17-goal thriller.

Leeds FA Senior Challenge Cup action saw Whitkirk Wanderers take their league form into knockout competition with a 3-0 home win over Amaranth Crossgates.

In the Bradford & District FA Senior Cup, Field thumped Salts 4ths Craven 6-0, while Salts' first team beat their reserves 2-0.

Meanwhile, in West Yorkshire Premier League action, Rawdon Old Boys took advantage of the plethora of cup action to move four points off the top four with a 2-0 home win over Horbury Town.

The prolific Craig Nicholls was on target yet again, while Lewis Nightingale also got his name on the scoresheet.

Oxenhope Recreation recovered from a difficult start to record a thrilling 5-2 home win over Wetherby Athletic in Division One.

Tom Marshall put the hosts in front, but two quickfire strikes from Wetherby put them ahead. A flowing team move saw McCauley Smith equalise before Scott Nelson put Oxenhope in front five minutes before the break.

Oxenhope dominated in the second half and were eventually rewarded when Nelson hooked a ball across goal for Marshall to head home his second.

Man of the match Danny Makinson was dominant in midfield and and the home side started to pass the ball with confidence.

Ten minutes from time, substitute Danny Driver and Nelson linked up for Lee Reilly to slot the ball past the keeper to wrap up the win.

Pool slumped to a 7-0 defeat at unbeaten Hall Green United and Otley subsequently moved above them with a 2-1 win at Newsome thanks to two second half goals from Kyle Jeffrey.

Altofts won a thrilling encounter 3-2 at Ryhill in the Wakefield & District Cup thanks to a Daniel Wright double, while Brighouse Old Boys suffered a heartbreaking 3-1 defeat after extra time in the Halifax FA Cup against Elland Allstars.
