GUISELEY joint-manager Russ O'Neill says his side need to put their FA Cup excursions to one side and concentrate on a tough league game this weekend.

The Lions booked their place in the fourth qualifying round with a 2-1 replay win over Cleethorpes Town on Tuesday night. This followed a 2-2 draw in North East Lincolnshire the previous Saturday.

Guiseley's reward is a home tie next against Stourbridge on Saturday, October 20.

But in between they host seventh-placed Brackley Town in Manarama National League North at Nethermoor on Saturday. Guiseley are 13th in the league after three wins and five draws from their opening 11 fixtures.

O'Neill said: "Brackley will be a really tough game against a good team. Kevin Wilkin has done a great job there. They have been pushing for the last three or four seasons to go up.

"We are over the moon to have gone through in the FA Cup. It is a big thing to get through for us. You just have to get through to the next round.

"We have to give massive credit to Cleethorpes.

"We knew what to expect in the replay on Tuesday night. We found a way to win.

"The lads showed a lot of character and belief to get the win.

"I am relieved to get through and into the next round.

"You can only ask for a home tie next. Stourbridge is going to be no easy game. They have a good history in the FA Cup. It is a tough task for us again.

Meanwhile, Guiseley are inviting season ticket holders from any club to watch Saturday's home clash for half price.

It is Non-League Day, and to celebrate this, Guiseley have a special offer on for all season ticket holders, including those from Leeds United and Bradford City.

Season ticket holders from any club can gain half price entry by showing their valid ticket/card at the turnstiles, making it just £6.50 for adults, £4.50 for concessions, £2.50 for 11 to 18-year-olds and 50p for accompanied Under-11s.

Guiseley secretary, James Pickles, said: "We as a club are putting on the offer to entice more supporters down to Nethermoor as The Lions look to continue their good start to the season, when they take on Brackley Town with a 3pm kick-off.

"We want as many people as possible to get down to Nethermoor and enjoy Non-League Day, whether you are a loyal regular or someone who is yet to experience the joys of football at our level."
